Dizin is the most important ski resort in Iran and in the Middle East and is located in the city of Karaj near Tehran.
Dizin Ski Resort is the first ski resort in Iran which was recognized by the International Ski Federation for holding the official tournaments.
The ski season in Dizin, which has provided the most time for skiers in Iran, is from early December to late May.
The amenities of this track in terms of development of the area include 2 hotels, 19 cottages and 5 restaurants. The weather is very suitable for winter (20-centigrade) with a lot of sunny days and the most pleasant summer weather (20+ centigrade), with plenty of facilities and convenient access, making Dizin a winter and summer tourist destination in the Middle East.
During the summer, it is also possible to ski on Grass on this track. The ski slope on the grass piste is 650 meters long. Every year, the world's grass ski championships take place. Also , in other areas of the Dizin, there is the possibility of activities such as mountain biking, archery, kite riding, and tourists visiting the flower garden and rare species of mountainous plants.
